This is one social media tool that enables you to create videos about whatever you want and then post it online for the whole world to see. People are then able to come on and view your video to determine if it is good or not. The more views and good ratings it gets the more popular it becomes.

Advertisers are aware of this too as they have just recently started to apply what could be called social media marketing to these types of sites. Now whenever you watch a video there is advertising displayed at the bottom of the video. And obviously the more views the video has the more the advertiser probably pays to have his or her ad seen there.
