How Advertisers Are Staying Competitive – Part 1

Television is not what it used to be. Years ago you only had so few channels, and on those channels were advertisements to get viewers to see products and services. Viewers had little choice but to see the advertisement on television because their options were limited. Advertisers were able to make maximum use of the medium and the captive audience for a long time.

Nowadays there is cable TV, internet, satellite, you name it and people are no longer just viewers, they have been empowered and are being interactive. Many of these newer services are commercial free, that means people will opt to engage with these other channels as supposed to the ones with commercials. And even if they watch television with commercials they can always just change the channel during the commercial breaks.
