Some people are just not born natural writers. The thought of sitting down and writing their thoughts is something that makes them cringe. The may be able to do it for a little while but they cannot sustain it. Others are just better at expressing themselves in a way that allows them to be more creative. They may be able to speak words better or they may be better at putting on a show for people to see. Maybe they are good at telling stories but do not wish to write it down on paper, maybe they wish to speak it instead.
Which ever avenue you chose there are multiple ways to get your thoughts and opinions out there. Virtually every avenue you can take allows for content syndication of any nature. In this first part of a two part article we will look at two popular multimedia formats being used by millions of people everyday at some of the most popular social media sites.
Online Videos
Youtube is one big example of what you can call one of many syndication services. When this site first begin it was not really a big thing. People would just go on and make silly videos. Now there are topics on there about virtually every subject you can think of. You can record events using a camera phone and upload them to this social media site and the content will be available for anybody to see.
Youtube is one of the heaviest trafficked sites on the net. People really want to be seen and heard and they want to use this form of online video syndication to spread their message across as many social media sites as possible. You can put up a video and have several people take your video and put it onto their websites and weblogs for all their visitors to see.
Podcasting and Internet Radio
Not all people like to put their face on the internet for everyone to see. They would prefer to be able to get their voice out there without people being able to actually see them, just hear them. It is absolutely incredible that anybody, even a little kid if they wanted to, can go online and use a media syndication service like blogtalk radio or a free podcasting service to record full shows on any topic they wish. Just in case you do not know, a podcast is a recorded or live show that is done and then can be downloaded and distributed anywhere the user wants.
Blogtalk radio allows for users to use their phone to record shows live. They are then able to save them into their personal account page within this network where it can be listened to or downloaded at anytime. So in essence you are able to have your own online radio show.
People can call in on their phones while you are talking and listen to you talking live. You can even click over to them so that they are able to talk on you radio show. You can add your own sounds and background music. You can have special guest, do online interviews and the like. The only downside is that you can only use it for a maximum of two to three hours at a time and then the system shuts you out.
